A Message from Our Principal
Dear Von Tobel Middle School Families,
I am honored to be able to take this opportunity to briefly introduce myself. My name is Leonardo Amador, and I have the privilege of being the principal of Von Tobel Middle School. I have been in the field of education for the last 17 years and an administrator since 2005. My professional experience has involved working with diverse populations of students, including general education, English Language Learners, and special education students.
One of the most important aspects of my work here at Von Tobel Middle School is building strong relationships with students, teachers, families, and community members. You’ll find me in the hallways, classrooms, and in the lunchroom getting to know your children. My passion has been and always will be educating students. With that in mind, you can expect that I will work diligently with teachers to make sure our students are exposed to curriculum and instruction that is both engaging and challenging.
As the principal, I realize the education of children is a difficult job and cannot be accomplished without the assistance of great teachers, parents, and the surrounding community. I encourage parents and community members to be active participants in the education of our students. There are many ways to participate in the education of our students. The easiest way, however, is to maintain effective lines of communication. I welcome input from parents, students, staff, and community members throughout the year. If you have concerns, praise, or would just say hello, please contact my office at 799.7280 ext. 4100.
